Welcome to Ajo Golf Course & RV Park

Ajo is a great 9 hole regulation course located at the Ajo Country Club facility in Ajo, AZ. The course was designed and opened in 1956. The course rating is 72.1 with a slope rating of 117.

From the longest tees it offers 3,093 yards of golf for a par of 36.  The clubhouse is open seasonally from around the middle of November until about the middle of May.  The clubhouse is a favorite local hangout for enjoying the golf course setting and mixing with friends.

In the mining hey days the golf course truly was the “Ajo Country Club” complete with golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts and fine dining and dancing in the banquet hall.  While the “hey days” may be gone the spirit and the dining room and banquet facilities remain and can easily accommodate groups from 10 to 150 with prior notice.

Each year during the first weekend in February the golf course banquet hall comes alive with the sound of Fiddle music as the golf course hosts the Annual Old Time Fiddlers Contest. Fiddlers from all over the southwest come to camp and compete, dance and provide almost nonstop entertainment for all to enjoy.
